I’ve grown to love these weekly photo challenges. As I scan through my hundreds of photos each week, it sort of makes me look at each them differently for what might correspond with that theme, like thinking outside the box. This week several jumped out at me, but I forced myself to narrow it down to the 2 for simplicity.
1.) Me next to a giant Saguaro Cactus after my cousin’s wedding in Arizona, 2010 (I’m 6′ tall):
2.) This one is the anchor in the Port of Gustavia on the island of St. Barthelemy, where I currently reside. It weighs an estimated 10 tons.
Hi Holly, I like your photos as well!
thanks. These photo challenges ARE fun, aren’t they? Really do make you look at your life in photos differently. I love that.
Yes, they do make you look at them differently. It makes me really enjoy looking through them again. I’m new to the challenges, but hooked I guess!
Now that’s an anchor!
A BIG tourist attraction for our LITTLE island. 🙂
Wow, that anchor is very cool 🙂
It is fun! Love the location of it too. Great addition to a pretty little harbor village.
Nice juxtaposition in saguaro pic 🙂
Thank you. Credit for that needs to go to my sister. (Thanks Wendy Garrett.)
